Setting up the device
Pairing connects one device to one screen. Read the code off the device, type it into the dashboard, confirm. That is the whole procedure.

Fire TV and Android
Both are listed in the wizard as coming soon and cannot be selected yet.
Pairing
Only Linux, Fire TV and Android run on a pairing code. The URL player gets a playback URL instead, and your own CMS needs no pairing.
Read the code off the device
8 charactersThe device shows an 8-character code, displayed as two groups of four.
Digits and capital letters, without the confusable 0, O, 1, I and L.
Enter it in the dashboard
Open the screen in the partner dashboard and type the code into the pairing field.
Confirm
Device and screen are connected. The device starts pulling its playlist.
The code does not expire
You can hang the screen today and pair it next week. The code on the device stays valid.
One device, several screens
A device can serve more than one screen through its output index. Each output is paired to its own screen and gets its own playlist.
Unpairing works from the dashboard. The device credentials are revoked in the process, so a device you unpair stops playing.
Two switches, two meanings
- Bookable
- Controls whether the screen is sold to advertisers.
- Device active
- Emergency stop for playback. Administration operates this one.
Turning off bookable does not stop playback
Campaigns already booked keep running. Only the emergency stop halts delivery on the device.

No published hardware minimum
Adyoutiser does not publish minimum hardware or bandwidth requirements. If you are unsure whether a device fits, write to office@adyoutiser.com before you buy it.
