Booking poster advertising online — digital instead of paper
Anyone who has booked classic poster advertising knows the drill: enquire, wait, quote, print, paste, run time in weeks. Digital out-of-home replaces that. You book online, your creative is a file instead of a print, and you can swap it any time. Days instead of weeks, an image or video instead of paper.
The practical difference: changes don't cost a new print run, a single weekend is bookable on its own, and you see the final price before you pay.
What it costs
The price depends on two things: which screens you book and what ad share you take.
Ad share, briefly. A digital screen doesn't play a single ad, it plays a loop. Your ad share — share of voice in the jargon — is the part of that loop that belongs to you. At 25 % you get a quarter of the bookable ad time, at 50 % half, at 10 % a tenth. Spread across the whole day, not in one block.
You're not buying "a screen", you're buying time on a screen. More time, more money. Less time, less money. The daily prices in the table above are all calculated at 25 % so you can compare them. Operating hours are listed per screen in the booking flow — they're not the same everywhere.
Austrian advertising levy. Outdoor advertising in Austria carries the Werbeabgabe: 5 % on the net amount. It's shown at checkout and we remit it.
The math behind it. Daily price = ad share in percent × the screen's full daily price. Multiple screens and days multiply linearly: 3 screens × 7 days is 21 screen-days.
The final price is on screen before you pay. In the booking flow you see screens × days × ad share totalled before you hit pay. No setup fee, no minimum term, no subscription that renews itself. One card payment via Stripe. What you see is what gets charged.
Who this is for
This is built for businesses with a fixed location and a local catchment area, whose ad budget doesn't carry an agency.
Concretely: restaurants and cafés that want a screen in their own neighbourhood. Hairdressers, beauty and nail salons. Gyms and yoga studios. Dental, physio and therapy practices. Trades with a service area. Retail on and around Mariahilfer Straße. Estate agents with a specific property. Training providers and driving schools. Event organisers who need visibility three days out.
On the Danube there's a group of its own: boat operators, city tours, boat rentals, waterside restaurants, hotels in the 2nd and 20th district — anything whose audience is waiting at a pier.
If you're planning a nationwide budget and need cross-media planning, an agency serves you better. We do the other part.
