What partners ask first.
How exactly does the revenue share work?
Your share depends on your screen's ad share — how much of the time runs booked ads. The more ad time, the higher your share. The basis is always your screen's net ad revenue. We agree the exact rate with you, it is written into your contract, and the monthly credit note accounts for everything.
What happens if no one books my screen?
Then there's nothing to pay out — and nothing to lose. Open time gets filled by the content pool or your own ads, so the screen is never black. For context: our screens have already hit 100% occupancy.
Who owns the screen? Can you brick it remotely?
The screen is yours. We only ship software (Fire TV, Linux player or browser). You can pull the plug any time — we have no physical access. We can only pause the software (e.g. on brand-safety violations), not your hardware.
What ads play? Can I refuse industries?
Yes. In the dashboard you block categories — gambling, politics, tobacco, alcohol, direct competitors. Our AI checks every ad before it reaches your screen (brand safety, resolution, ToS). Unclear cases we review by hand. If we're unsure, we ask you first.
What does this cost me in electricity?
The player is a low-power mini-PC — consumption in the range of an LED bulb. If the software runs on your own TV, there's practically nothing extra. Negligible vs your share.
When does the first payout arrive?
With Stripe, automatically after the campaign ends — nothing for you to trigger. On top, the credit note arrives monthly as a PDF (self-billing): no invoice to write. Without Stripe you send us an invoice, we pay by SEPA transfer. Everything shows in the dashboard.
What if I want to stop?
The partner contract runs 12 months from signing and renews for 1 year at a time after that. You can cancel up to 3 months before the current term ends. Why the term: it takes time for advertisers to discover and book a new screen — the first months build up. After the contract ends, booked campaigns finish, those payouts come normally, and the player stays yours.
Tax: am I a freelancer now?
For regular income, usually yes — it depends on the amount. The monthly credit note (self-billing) arrives automatically as a PDF — your accountant gets a clean document. We're developers, not tax advisors — please confirm with yours.
Do I need a permit (Werbeanlagengenehmigung)?
For indoor screens (café, hotel lobby, barber): typically no. For shop window or outdoor-visible: depends on the district, partially notifiable. We check this with you before you start. Bratislava similar. You're never surprised.
Can I run my own ads in between?
Yes, free. In the dashboard you upload your own content — it runs in the open time. Your screen promotes your business and earns on the side. Note: your ad share determines your revenue share.
What internet speed do I need?
Normal WiFi is enough. The player pre-downloads content and keeps playing offline — brief outages don't matter. Mobile hotspot also works but is needlessly expensive.
What if the hardware breaks?
The Linux player carries the statutory warranty. On defect: send it back, get a new one, software config restored automatically. Or switch to your own screen — the software is free. Plays aren't billed when the screen is offline.
